The Winter Olympics are finally here! After the year-long delay to the summer games, we couldn’t wait for the snow to fall and watch some of the greatest athletes represent Team USA!
Let’s take a look at some big moments.
Lindsey Jacobellis in snowboardcross to snag a Gold Medal at the Beijing Olympics. It took a few days, but the 36-year-old athlete took home the first gold for Team USA and her second overall medal in five Olympic Games.
The youngest woman to win Olympic snowboarding gold proved she’s got what it takes to do it again! Chloe Kim defended her crown with a stellar early run to add another gold for Team USA.
American Figure Skater Nathan Chen made history with his record-breaking performance. The 22-year-old is considered one of the greatest figure skaters with multiple championships under his belt but was unable to maintain the hype in the 2018 Winter Olympics. After four years, he’s redeemed his performance with gold and a world record. Watch his performance below.
