THE START OF HIDEit + A NEW PRODUCT CATEGORY
What do you get when you add a Nintendo Wii, a few glasses of wine and a blow torch? Usually a recipe for disaster. Not in our case.
When Chuck + Rey bought a Wii in 2008, they had issues with cords everywhere and no place to store the console. They figured they could mount it, just like their TV, but there wasn’t an option.
That’s when the idea sparked!
Figuring others had the same problem, they created the solution: game console mounts.
Without any experience starting a business, they got to learning. Handy-man Chuck created a logo on Microsoft Paint and Rey shot product photos + built the website. It didn’t take long for an order to come in. Then another. They were onto something... HIDEit was taking off!
