What is the best way to mount a PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo console?
Use a steel mount shaped for your exact console. A model-specific mount holds the console by its own shape, leaves the vents open and keeps it off shelves, where it can get knocked, dusty or spilled on. HIDEit makes mounts for PS5, PS5 Slim, PS5 Pro, PS4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, Switch 2 and Switch, plus controllers and headsets.
Are gaming wall mounts safe for consoles?
Yes, when the mount is built for the console and installed into the wall as the instructions show. HIDEit mounts are heavy-gauge, powder-coated steel, hold the console by its own shape, and leave its vents open so it gets airflow.

Do HIDEit mounts block ventilation?
They're designed not to. Each mount holds the console without covering its main vents, so air can move around it. Mounting can also help, since the console sits in open air instead of a closed cabinet.
Does a steel mount block Wi-Fi?
