Does the barrel have to face up in this mount?
Yes. This mount is designed to showcase a bat with its barrel facing up. If you prefer the barrel facing down, you will need the HIDEit Vertical Bat Mount.
Will the bat be centered in the mount?
Not necessarily. The bat will sit higher in the mount depending on the thickness of the barrel. The mount will hold most bats at the taper where the barrel meets the handle.
