We’re gamers. And hands down love the Nintendo Switch. Who wouldn’t? It’s fun, it’s colorful, and when Nintendo introduced the Switch Dock for TV compatibility, well…it just made sense to HIDEit!
WHY DID WE MAKEit?
Our entire business was developed over a decade ago when we couldn’t find a storage solution for our Nintendo Wii. So naturally, when they added the Nintendo Switch Dock, we knew we had to make the perfect Switch accessory - a HIDEit Switch Wall Mount! Instead of storing another device on or in a TV stand or media cabinet, the Switch can be easily hidden behind the TV, or displayed on the wall in a playroom or game room.

We preordered the Nintendo Switch and began creating a full wrap around prototype with our typical HIDEit standards in mind - high quality and ultimate mounting versatility!
Then news came out about the Joy‑Con™ connectivity issues and we immediately put the brakes on adding VESA compatibility. If connectivity was going to be an issue, then we wanted to ensure customers would only wall mount their Switch Dock next to the TV for the best wireless signal.Shortly after our initial release, Nintendo started replacing the Joy-Cons. That meant it was time for us to go back to the drawing board and make adjustments. Our current version improvements include VESA compatibility, as well as an offset design to give the device extra breathing room. We even include a center M4 and M6 hole so the Switch Dock can be mounted directly to the back of wall-mounted TVs!
OLED COMPATABILITY
With a focus on the full wrap design, we started to worry when rumors of a 'Switch Pro' started bubbling up. To our surprise, these rumors of a more powerful Switch didn't come to light, but Nintendo did announce the Switch OLED Model. This fresh design brought a new screen to the console, but when the Dock looked different, we needed to do more research.
After some digging, we found some measurements we were sure would fit our existing mount, but without testing, we couldn't be certain. Once the Switch OLED Model released, we got to testing and found our original design fit the new dock without issue!
Keep in mind, the Switch OLED Dock does feature small design changes. The dock is .1 inches longer and shaved .12 inches off the depth. But those changes are so minimal we didn’t have to make any changes to our mount!
WHAT MAKES THIS MOUNT SPECIAL?
The HIDEit Switch Wall Mount may look simple, but that’s the beauty of our products.
If you look closely, you’ll see this mount is truly unique.
We created an offset design with side openings to ensure proper airflow and keep the Switch cool. It also has a slide stop (or tab) so the device stays secure in the mount. The Nintendo Switch Mount can also be wall mounted on either side of the TV with the cords routed through the gap from the offset.
