WHO IS @DeadstockNYC?
Mike needed the perfect gaming storage solution for his daughter’s new bedroom! With an active five-year-old running around, he wanted to make sure that she had plenty of options when it came to play time. Mike is a Super Dad but he still made sure to share the playroom renovation progress with his social media followers. Talk about inspo!

WHY DID HE HIDEit?
The inspiration was to make a fun kid's playroom with various “stations” that could be enjoyed with friends. Mike searched for a game console mount on Instagram and came across HIDEit Mounts. “I stumbled on the HIDEit Instagram page and when I saw the completed setups, I was done searching.” After seeing countless gaming setups, he knew HIDEit was the perfect way to eliminate wires and organize multiple consoles!
HOW DID HE INSTALLit?
Before Mike mounted his daughter's video game consoles and gaming accessories, he decided to create a plan for the future because, as he suggests “even if you don’t have more than one console, make sure you leave yourself room for any future consoles, controllers or power connections prior to mounting.” At first, this Super Dad mounted an Xbox One S, two Xbox Controllers, and a Gaming Headset. Since he planned ahead, Mike had plenty of room to add a Nintendo Switch Dock after his little girl’s 5th birthday!

WHAT'S NEXT?
After finishing the bulk of his daughter's play area renovation, he is considering adding a Sonos Soundbar. “I feel like that would center and round out all the mounted peripherals.”
