Its super easy to add the anti-wear strips to your Series X Mount - just follow the steps below. We recommend applying the anti-wear strips prior to mounting the Series X Mount, but they can still be added after install. For video help click here.

1. Check that you have 2 anti-wear strips.

2. The anti-wear strips are placed on the front edges of the mount.

3. Fold anti-wear strip in half - this makes it easier to apply.

4. Remove yellow backing from anti-wear strip.

5. Align top of the strip with the edge of the mount lip.

6. Push the strip crease to the mount crease. Press to smooth.

7. Repeat for the other side of the mount.

8. Install mount according to provided instructions.
