For more than a decade, HIDEit Mounts has been trail blazing in the world of mounting solutions. From changing how game consoles are stored, to creating mounts for all sorts of devices and sports gear— our journey has been about pushing boundaries and listening to our customers.
With that being said, here's a little time line of firsts through our 15 years in business!
The year we changed gaming forever. We introduced the concept of wall-mounting game consoles with the very first HIDEit Nintendo Wii Mounts. It was a big idea at the time, keeping consoles safe and saving space, especially around kids.
Our Nintendo Wii Mounts were the first game console mounts in the market. Created out of need, it took many tears for the idea to really catch on. Up to this day we're still introducing the "wall mounting" concept to people, showing a better alternative to storing consoles in a traditional media cabinet.
This was followed by our first adjustable device mount in 2013, which was requested from a lot of our customers at the time. So we switched from plastic to steel to create our HIDEit Uni-M full wrap design— which is protected by several patents— followed by our Uni-S for smaller devices.
A few years later in 2015, we did something really cool. We made the first VESA device mount-- HIDEit MiniU for the Apple Mac Mini computer.
This was our first VESA mount, in fact we were probably the first to even think of mounting a device directly to the back of the monitor or TV. People loved it so much that it became the #1 new release on Amazon in no time!
The following year, we tackled game controllers. It was tough to make a mount for all types of controllers, it took months, but we did it! We had prototypes made, then spent countless hours cutting and bending them to fit every game console controller we could get our hands on.
Our Uni-C Mount became a hit among gamers everywhere, helping them keep their controllers stylishly organized and safe!

In 2019, we stepped into the world of sports. We're always up for a challenge, and this was another way for us to help people organize their gear! So we created the first HIDEit Horizontal One-Piece Bat Mount. This mount is a game-changer, it helped us expand the concept of showing off your fave gear to the baseball community.

We then debuted the first PS5 Mount in 2020, which has three patents for its design. Despite that, there are still many others that end up copying us. We started designing the HIDEit P5 Mount as soon as the specs were leaked to the public, and pre-sold thousands!

But we didn't stop there!
That same year, we rolled out another sports mount- our first complete skateboard display mount, HIDEit DSkate. With skateboarding close to our hearts (our Co-Found and COO, Chuck Shirley is a skater!), we wanted to showcase the deck graphics, not just the grip tape. This mount was also inspired by a paper towel holder! That's the kind of creative thinking that keeps us innovating and pushing boundaries.
As we reach our 15th year, we're proud of our journey of innovation. From changing how game consoles are stored to creating mounts for different devices and sports gear, we've always aimed to push boundaries and listen to our customers.
